Our modern world is now a mix of contaminated environments where most of the time our

emotions are not considered and where we feel obliged to avoid any outgoing.

We live in an appearance society where everything must be perfect and we are losing the concept of the person as individual human.
We often cannot even identify the problem, because there is not only one, is a chain of problems… and our emotions and irrational reactions become our ghosts to keep hidden…

She is representing all of us…and  the loop of our modern life, get ready, go to work, go for shopping, meet friends, over and over,…
We hide so many emotions that are already too strong to be expressed but our inner self is pushing us to get rid of it.

We are all supposed to be perfect workers, have the time to train and be fit, be socially active, have a perfect family, be connected 24h, be always happy and funny, …

我们的现代世界是一个被污染环境的混合体，大多数时候我们

情感是不被考虑的，我们觉得有义务避免任何外向的。

我们生活在一个一切都必须完美的外貌社会，我们正在失去作为个体的人的概念。

我们常常甚至无法识别问题，因为问题不止一个，而是一系列的问题……我们的情绪和非理性反应成为我们隐藏的幽灵……

她代表着我们所有人，以及我们现代生活的循环:准备、上班、购物、见朋友，一遍又一遍……

我们隐藏了太多已经强烈到无法表达的情感，但我们的内心却在推动我们摆脱它。

我们都应该是完美的员工，有时间锻炼和保持健康，有社交活动，有一个完美的家庭，24小时保持联系，永远快乐和有趣……

“ 灰 Grey ” has been all shoot in Beijing even if the mission N.1 was to do not let people recognize it.

Has been really challenging make this movie, first of all there was no budget at all, the troupe was young and everyone with their job, so even to arrange the schedule sometimes was just impossible to find the time to meet up and have enough time to work on it.
On the top you would always have a last minute problem or unforeseen difficulty.
Was amazing see how people loved the idea and the concept behind the movie, and this is when things got easier and faster, because we got few sponsors for the locations and not only.

Later on at the beginning of 2020 due of the Covid-19 we had to stop again but thanks to our team flexibility we managed to keep on going.

At the end the cost has been more than reasonable and we managed to finish everything within one year and half, now is the time to spread the movie around the world….

“灰”即使在北京拍摄任务N.1都不让人认出它。

拍这部电影真的很有挑战性，首先，没有任何预算，剧团很年轻，每个人都有自己的工作，所以即使安排日程有时也不可能找到时间见面，有足够的时间来做这部电影。

在顶部，你总会在最后一刻遇到问题或无法预见的困难。

看到人们如此喜欢这部电影背后的想法和理念真是太棒了，这让事情变得更简单更快了，因为我们在拍摄地得到了很少的赞助商。

随后在2020年初，由于Covid-19，我们不得不再次停下来，但由于我们团队的灵活性，我们设法继续前进。

最终成本超出了合理范围，我们在一年半的时间内完成了所有的工作，现在是时候将这部电影在世界各地传播....

Why Martina Morrocchi decided to make a movie?

​

“ 灰 Grey ” has borne as an Improve Immersive Physical Theatre Performance “The Grey Life”, performed in the 2017 in Beijing.
After the great success we decided to do the related Docufilm about the show that we showcased at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh and at the TPAM Festival in Yokohama  the following years.

After an attentive brainstorming we thought that the grey life was something deeper and more connected to everyone more than what we thought, we decided that to create a Short movie and would go deeper in to peoples life and less individualistic, connected more to our feelings and our afraidness of every days life.

“灰”作为一个承担提高身临其境的物理剧院表演“灰色的生活”,表现在2017年在北京。

在取得巨大成功后，我们决定制作相关的纪录片，我们在爱丁堡的艺穗节和在横滨的TPAM节展示了接下来的几年。

细心的头脑风暴之后我们认为灰色生活更深层次、更连接到每个人都超过我们认为,我们决定创建一个短片,会深入到人民的生活和更少的个人主义,更连接到我们的感觉和我们的afraidness每一天的生活。
