Martina Morrocchi was born in Italy

Panzano in Chianti-  Florence 1989/12/29

 (Chianti Classico a small area in Tuscany). At

14 years old she started to paint abstract oil paintings,

 travel and act  in a theatre company in Florence.

At 16, she joined Manu Lalli in Venti Lucenti Company.

Her dream was to travel... 

she knew that she had to communicate to the world,

and so her first love, Theatre, became her words.

After graduating in International Marketing and Communications,

Morrocchi decided to have an experience as an art conservator, restoring antique furniture in Florence. This experience gave her a good knowledge of scenic design techniques, while at the same time running a real estate to keep active her marketing and  communications background.

At 20 years old, she received a scholarship to attend the International Academy of Theatre after passing the entrance exam with top marks. Morrocchi finished the 3 years of Academy and graduated as an Actress and Theatre Assistant Director . 

Just one month before completing the studies, she got an opportunity to work in China where she decided to go to start her research on International Theatre Cultural Background and the scenery of the Theatre in Asia.

She found it really interesting and moved to Beijing to open her own company, MaMoNaHi Theatre / Dance Company.

She loved how Chinese people reacted to her training and discovered that even in Europe we have less Tabu', but we play less. Chinese people are really able to play and open their minds, and are not afraid to come back to childhood and play without masks.

After months of training and shows, Morrocchi realised that she wanted to work with Chinese actors and dancers to create her shows.

She created the script for: 

-Relationship , -The gray life , -Energy, - Colorful Nepal

having already designed and choreographed the show of Relationship and Energy as

author, director, producer, costume design and actress(Relationship).

The company in Beijing is currently still active and open to any kind of cooperation. Martina loves to cooperate with musicians , dancers and actors.

The topic and her strong desire to communicate this topic is her inspiration for designing her shows. She then starts to experiment with the emotions of this topic and in this way develops a script.
