ALBERTO CUELLAR

Alberto Cuellar was born in Granada, Spain.

Since very a young age, Alberto was interested in the guitar. A guitar tradition exists in his family since the 19th Century.

He started to learn guitar in his hometown with his father “Chico” Cuellar  and Alarich Zoller “Alarico”. At that time, in his hometown, he received his Grade 8 qualification in Guitar from the Trinity College of Music  with Distinction. Later, he went to London where he lived for 4 years and graduated (Bmus) in guitar by the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with teacher Robert Brightmore.

He has experience performing recitals in many different countries such as France, EE.UU, Japan, Thailand, England, Spain and India.

Cuellar has lived in Beijing, China since 2008 and continues doing guitar recitals all over the country.

Shawn Moore - Violin

Shawn Moore is an American violinist/violist, currently teaching and performing in China, the US and other locations throughout the world. He is the Musician in Residence at The Affiliated High School of Peking University, a visiting professor at the Nanjing School of the Arts, and Musician in Residence for the Yale Club of Beijing. While pursuing his career as a musician, Shawn also concurrently works for Bard College, covering East/Central Asia as an admissions officer and representative for institutional relations. He has been based in Beijing since the fall of 2014. Shawn is passionate about languages and communication in general – be it musical, linguistic or otherwise. He is a graduate of Bard College and Yale University.

XU PENG - Sax

Saxophonist, Xu Peng, is one of the most influential saxophonists in the country. He

graduated from the Beijing Modern Music Academy, majoring in jazz saxophone. Xu Peng has been engaged in music performance and teaching since graduating from the Saxophonist. His art experience includes small tomato jazz band sponsor, and the formation of Xu Peng jazz quartet and jazz trio.

EDUARDO DE LA FUENTE - Cajon

Eduardo de la Fuente, Flamenco percussionist, from Valladolid, Spain. In his youth he started to play flamenco and rumba with his gipsy friends, consequently the rhythm of flamenco already became part of his mind, and he can always play the flamenco cajón with admirable dynamics and precision. He is part of music groups like "Rabia y Miel","Maldita sea mi estampa", and performed in different concerts, TV shows and festivals in Spain.
